Refund Policy
At Asian Tide, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. All sales are final; we do not accept returns for change of mind.
We only offer refunds or store credit in accordance with Australian Consumer Law where an item is found to be faulty, damaged, or not as described.
Eligibility for Refund or Store Credit:
To be eligible, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Returns and credits are only accepted if authorised by us, no refund will be made for change of mind.
- Any damage must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Items should be inspected upon arrival so any freight damage can be reported to the carrier within their claim timeframe.
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition you received it
- You must provide photo evidence of the fault or damage, along with proof of purchase
- Please note that elm and rustic furniture pieces are made from natural materials and will exhibit inherent variations. These may include, but are not limited to, differences in tone or colour, timber grain patterns, and slight dimensional variances of up to ±3cm. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept these natural characteristics as part of the design. If you would like to view the exact piece prior to dispatch, you must request a photo before purchase. Otherwise, you agree to accept the item as selected by our team.
- Change of mind returns are not accepted as standard. However, if a return is approved at our discretion, a restocking fee of 50% of the item’s value, plus GST, will apply.
Items Not Eligible for Return:
- “As is” or clearance items
- Custom orders or made-to-order products
- Any item returned used, assembled, or without original packaging
Return Shipping:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and any damages are your responsibility and will be invoice to you as necessary.
- We recommend using a tracked delivery method, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return
- For approved returns, we will issue a store credit to be used within 12 months
